Flora

Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera) Taken at the Durlston Country Park in Dorset. This was my first attempt at using a reversing ring with a 50mm nikon lens.

Porcellain Fungus (Oudemansiella mucida) Taken in the New Forest with photographic tips from Heather Angel. For a day out with Heather see the Wild Arena website in the links menu.

Rooting Bonnet-cap (Mycena galericulata) Taken on the Ashridge Estate, Hertfordshire

Porcelain fungus from below

Purple Salsify (Tragopogon porrifolius) Also known as Oyster Plant as the root is noted for tasting of oysters.

A close shot of Salsify. I think the yellow pollen is almost neon like.
